Dateline 12-28-08 Echo Mountain Colorado Conditions were ideal today with good coverage and 30 degree Temperatures
Hey skiers and riders,
Today was a great day to hit Echo and conditions are getting better by the day. A nice sized crowd enjoyed the hill but I never had to wait in line for the lift. I saw a lot of never ever's on the magic carpet and plenty of big air tricks by the regulars. I'm noticing a good mix of thrill junkies and newer riders and skiers on the hill this year.
The Echo crew was great today and friendly as ever. I met the Bailey's from Atlanta today and they had nothing but great things to say about the staff. They mentioned Cindy had greeted them and made them feel right at home. I heard them talking to Mitch about their son and his lessons. They seemed very impressed with the individual attention. We all had a good time talking to Jess B. behind the Bar/Cafe. If you haven't met Jess go ahead and introduce yourself. The one thing the Bailey's had to say was how welcome they felt by the staff. They had been to Echo for a day, went to a big hill for a day and returned to Echo because they had so much fun.
Keep up the good work. The secret is getting out how close, fun and affordable Echo Mountain can be.
